First Kiss
Slight and sudden like the gust of wind
For a little fragile rosebud,
Your kiss left me breathless and weak
Bringing unrest to my heart.
The outside world stopped existing,
I forgot the air and time,
And closed my eyes hardly breathing
When I felt your lips on mine.
It tasted like a drop of dew
Sleeping on a sunlit leaf,
It felt so innocent and pure,
It was my very first kiss.

Although you have been no angel,
We're together anyway,
Our quarrels do not last longer
Than twenty four hours a day.
We're so fond of one another
That calling each other names
We stop our endless arguments
Simply to start them again.
You curse me like the day before,

And you will say something sweet.
Together we're a wild river,
Apart we are two little brooks,
I know you have been no angel,
